After updating I can an exception - it cannot find filter.png (so I
changed it back to search.gif in my source tree). Did you forget to 
commit it?

I used the search icon here since the Filter action is also bound to the
global Search action (with the search icon in the main toolbar).
I hope the new icon resembles the search icon in some way such that it's
obvious that it ties into search, not just filtering (since in my own
experience, I search more often than I filter).
