Hi all, as you probably know, the release35 branch is "stable", so we're only putting bugfixes back to it. The trunk is trackin development. However, since there have been some incompatible changes made to it (using DataEditorSupport.findDataObject for example) so it won't actually compile with NetBeans 3.5. I would like to be able to have a dev build of tasklist with NetBeans 3.5, since that's going to be the stable IDE for a while. So, we need a new branch. How about "release35dev" ? In other words, it matches NetBeans' "release35" branch, but contains "dev"-level features and quality. I would like "release35dev" and "trunk" to be feature equivalent. I would also like to keep these branches in close synchronization, so that the only difference between them are API changes accomodating the trunk (and perhaps eventually, changes specific to 4.0 support, e.g. tasklist-projects integration.) How does that sound to everyone? Questions or objections? If there are no objections, I will make the branch ...the next time I get time to hack on the tasklist code :) -- Tor -- Tor Norbye <[email protected]> Sun Microsystems, Inc
