Are we stable yet?

Hi all,
we have a "stable" version of the tasklist module which hasn't
changed in quite a while. It's been on the update center for
a while too (the beta update center).

Should we propose to have it moved to the stable update center?
Personally I'm not sure how stable it is since I always use
the latest bleeding edge stuff - so is there anyone on this
alias (or newsgroup readers) who want to comment on this?

Also, any opinions on how stable the current "development"
bits are? Should we fork off another stable branch soon?
Or just stay with 4.0 development (which I think means we
have about six months until release (and less until beta),
assuming 4.0 follows the normal six month release schedule 
we've seen in the past.)
