That must be a bug. When you do a directory scan, it's supposed to
open a separate suggestions view (with a different tab label and
icon). This suggestions view should behave differently:
- it's not updated as you edit the files
- it's not persistent (so if you exit and come back, it's no longer there)
- cursor motion in the editor does not cause tasks on the current line
  of the cursor to be highlighted as in the active suggestions view.
  (This is not intentional; just not implemented.)

I think the scan results must have made it into the suggestion cache.

I think there should be one view for each scan request. That way you
can have simultaneous scan reports for various different directories
you've scanned.

Yes, I agree, and that's what's -supposed- to happen already, but I
guess something is broken :)   I'll take a 5-minute look right now, then
I'll look into it when I get back home tonight.
