Hi,
when I use the build error tab sometime the messages are less useful
than they could be

for example when a error is 'cannot resolve symbol' the symbol name is
not displayed. With the build error module deactivated then this is
displayed in the next line as 'symbol : xyz

on the suggestions view the display contains the the details as if taken
from the other lines

As a seperate point, the column number reported is incorrect, it always
reports 1. I presume that thhis is taken from the [<line>:<col>] format
in the error message.
could this be parsed from the location of the '^' in the error message
as this gives the actual location of the error.
This would mean that when you goto the source then the curser is in the
right place
It would be good to fix the javac compiler to output the correct column
number but I guess that would take a while longer!

Mike
