Dear Frank,
I am glad I got your attention, and ...as you say so eloquently in your 
e-mail, my Dutch skills are a bit rusty. However, I am getting my "grote 
van Dale" next month, so watch out. I learned my computer jargon in the 
US., and hey... only people who don't do anything make no mistakes. ;-)
So play nice and we will welcome you to the group.
I have pasted some information at the bottom of this e-mail so you can 
get started.

You are just in time and with your help and the help of Hubert and 
Stefaan, we might put a real dent in the project before June 29th, when 
the next pick-up date is.

I would love to see your translation of the readme.html.
The translation system is a bit like looking through a key-hole, you see 
only bits and pieces, and so you don't always get the context. :-(
In the mean time I will try to get the group set up so we can all 
communicate with each other in a nice friendly way.

De Nederlandse versie van het NetBeans 5.6 platform was indertijd door 
Manfred Riem begonnen.
In February 2009 is de draad weer opgepakt voor de uitgave van de 
NetBeans 6.7 versie.
Als je de laatste versie geprobeert hebt weet je dat er nog een boel 
werk to doen is.
