What I'm going to say is quite disappointing (and I hope I'm wrong), but it seems to me that the Italian community lead (Giorgio, as can be read in the table you linked) has become inactive. I inferred this from the fact that we had an open discussion on the Italian mailing list, but it's been a lot of time since he last answered. Moreover I haven't heard of any other Italian contributor, which leads me to think that I'm the only one left.
Can you suggest me a way to know without doubts if Giorgio is still working to this project and if there are other active Italian translators? Of course I'll try again by sending an email to the Italian mailing list, but what can I do if nobody answers?
