I'd like to ask for review of issue #202771 [1] so it can be backported to the 
NB 7.1 branch:

Bug 202771 - Cannot debug missing index file (xdebug)

PHP project cannot be debugged if project metadata are separated from project 
sources. It means that it is a showstopper for all PHP projects with this 
project setup. The fix is very simple (one line change) and is verified by QE in 
trunk as well as by Ondřej Brejla. The fix itself can be found here [2].
