Hi,

it just  did some additional poking around and it seems, that the editor 
mode does not use explicit constraints at the moment. This seems to 
result in some kind of automatic placement creating havoc to the 
required layout. Adding default constraints, as found after simple start 
up in Windows2local fixes this. All modes show where expected.

This happens with mode kind = editor.

Hope this helps other mode placers ...
