Debugger: Type column in Local Variables and Watches window

Hi all,

I wonder why the Type column in Local Variables window (and also Watches 
window) is not visible as default. In my opinion, this information is 
useful for debugger users in the most cases. (It is my own experience 
and experience of my colleagues.) Is there any reason to have the column 
invisible?

Not only that, but also if I restart NetBeans, the last state of 
debugger's window settings is not remebered. It is boring to switch the 
column on again and again.
