Having trouble resizing and moving GUI components in the editor.

Everytime I try and "resize" a GUI component, like a JButton for example
(using Java, Swing), it shows me the resizing mouse cursor, but doesnt
actually resize at all, and instead moves the element's position!

I have to attempt to resize usually around 10-20 times before it will
actually resize the elements. This happens on ALL elements and makes
creating GUI's very slow using NetBeans.


Could someone point me to documentation on what is wrong? Or maybe the
bug has already been reported? Any comments or suggestions would be
greatly appreciated!
