We're moving a step in the right direction - very soon will be committed 
a fix for Macintosh keyboard bindings - or rather, a way for a module to 
be enabled only on one platform, and that module can show/hide/replace 
keyboard bindings that are already there.

It doesn't solve the problem for the editor, where bindings are still 
hardcoded (though the patch includes mac-specific fixes to choose 
between Ctrl and Command [Meta] in the editor), but it's a step closer...
