Help with mevenide plugin -- can't find MAVEN_HOME

Hi,

Environment: MacOS X 10.3.7 Java build 1.4.2_05-141.3 Netbeans 4.0 
Build 200412081800 Maven 1.0.1 Mevenide plugin 0.4 build 200411200643.

I've installed the Mevenide plugin and it works if I launch it from the 
command line in 
/Applications/NetBeans.app/Contents/Resources/NetBeans/bin/netbeans.

But if I launch it from the Dock, it doesn't find MAVEN_HOME and 
complains if I try to enable it.

I've put MAVEN_HOME into my .cshrc; I've added "set 
MAVEN_HOME=/Users/clr/maven-1.0.1" into my netbeans script file; I've 
added "-J-DMAVEN_HOME=/Users/clr/maven-1.0.1" to the 
netbeans_default_options into etc/netbeans.conf

but no change to the symptom.

Do I need to add MAVEN_HOME to my .login file?

Any other suggestions?
