This is more an nbusers topic.
Anyway,
1. Your "sop" is a "sout" in NB. Type sout and hit the space bar.
You can change this or add others via Tools/Options/Editing/editor
settings/java editor/Abbreviations.
2. importing automagicaly is already a feature request.
Meanwhile hit Alt-Shift-F to fix the imports.
Or Alt-Shift-I to handle the import of the word you're on.

Onderwerp: [nbui] Seeking some autocompletion features

Hi!!,
I am looking for two features in netbeans.
1. I had to keep on writing things like System.out.println and it
became tedious. Is there any way that I write 'sop' and then press
[ctrl]+[space] and it will be replace by System.out.println.Is there
anyway to add user-defined auto completion entries
for such comman tasks.
2.I would like an auto-import feature along with
auto-complete.i.e.Classes used for defining varaibles and params using
auto-completion should be imported automatically if they exist in
project path.I don't like just adding those import statements.

Do they exist? If not can I submit them as feature request?

regards,
ashutosh
