editor themes

Sorry if this question has already been anwered but I've googled and searched the archives and website without any luck... Anyway my question is this: Is there a simple way to create editor themes without changing the properties for each type of text for each individual editor? I'm a die-hard 'white on black' guy for code editing and unless I'm missing something it's a lot of work to set up all my editors. Is there perhaps a repository of pre-built themes somewhere, or a 'theme generator' program? If the only way to do this right now is by hand, I'd be willing to try to hack up a theme generator if other people would find it useful... -- Patrick E. Whitesell
