Problem Deloying Netbeans on Mandrake Linux

I keep getting errors from the installshied shell script on mandrake linux.

I dont know if you know of any issues of installing netbeans on Mandrake
The shell interpreter keeps displaying errors

bc [ ibase:16
command not found

something like dat
and it pointed to a line that reads this:

TYPE='convert $TYPE'
if ["$TYPE" -eq "$JVM_FILE_TYPE"] ; then
echo $11 >> $ISTEMP/jvmfit
fi

How do i get it to install properly
