More matisse actions available for key bindings

I'd like it if more of the actions that can be performed in Matisse would be
made available for keyboard shortcuts. Currently there are only about 8
actions available.
 The one I'd most like is 'rename' so that I could tab thru the widgets on
the screen and rename them. I tried using the 'recfactor rename,
alt-shift-r', but that wants to rename the entire class.
 Maybe also assigning a number/combo to palette entries. When designing
forms there are only about 5 widgets I commonly use.
