[forwarded] Hey - For an alternative NB Collab provider I need to add a new Account Manager and wanted to solicit some ideas as to the best approach. Optimally I think it would be cool to have a new radio button for each optional provider appear on the initial "Account Manager" screen from which the respective wizards would be delegated to. This way, one could more readily use various accounts and manage then from a consistent process. The trouble with this approach, as I see it, is that only one provider can be active at a given time (managed via tools->module manager). As such, I suspect the "Account Manager" wizards should be specific to the currently activated provider ... although I would love to be proven wrong. With that as a premise, I need to augment the NB/Collab UI tier such that: the initial account setup is specific to my provider the "manage accounts" properties panel is again specific to my provider Thoughts on the best way to go about this, noting that I will be sorting this out via the code shortly but I wanted to go ahead and cast the question at this time. Lastly, for the default provider, I'm wondering what the difference is between "remove account" and "unregister account." I suspect "unregister" will not apply to my provider. much appreciated, - james -- James Todd :: blogs.sun.com/gonzo | weblogs.java.net/blog/gonzo MyJXTA :: use it - learn it - do it Java == platform independence XML == application independence JXTA == network independence Secure End-to-End Computing
