Standalone NetBeans docking framework

Hi all,

I extracted the docking framework - like FlexDock - of NetBeans in
such a way that it can be run without the whole platform.  You may be
interested to take a look at this discussion:

I would like to release the code at SwingLabs.  However, I would
prefer to not fork NetBeans.  So, I'm wondering if the NetBeans dev
team would maintain the docking side of things outside of Netbeans
Platform or at least build NetBeans on top of it?
