SVN support in NetBeans

I've been using NetBeans for a while now, and am generally very pleased 
with it.  However, the lack of SVN support is a sore point.  I've 
watched the CVS support evolve since NB 3.6 and is now rather 
sophisticated.  Unfortunately, the current SVN support is much less 
developed.  I wish to avoid using CVS, since CVS makes it very difficult 
to move files to different packages once they have been committed. 

Is SVN in NetBeans being actively worked on?  Will a version of SVN as 
robust as the CVS support be available in the near future?
