Package Folder Already used in Project

hi all,

i have a problem , i am trying to creating a new project with an existing code i'aa giving its name then i choose the code folder but netbeans tells me that

"package folder already in use :
/space/............/java/src (owned by "ANOLDNAME")
"
there is no such a folder called ANOLDNAME in my computer, well there was before but not now, where netneans finds this name , how i can reuse those code in another project ?
