Netbeans ... JFrame/JPanel

Hi, I have one question ... I'm working with a JFrame and it contains 4 jpanels. First i made the interface using the editor. And now i want to make one class for every Panel. But i can't change the instance of the jframe. I can't edit the initComponentes. I changed the variableName in the properties but i doesn't work. How can edit my Frame, and change the valor to the panel1, panel2 ... Because i can have all the code un the same class(JFrame). Always Netbeas generate code for this, so? i need to make firs the panel and then put in the jFrame. I think there is other way.
