Re: Entity-Relationship Module UI Specifications

Hi, Wessam.  I started working on reviewing this spec, but I am
concerned that I and others are too busy to try and give it its due.
Rather than you wait and wait for feedback, or, just as bad, get no or
minimal feedback and move forward only to find later that your work is
not accepted, I would like to propose an alternative.

In my interviews, the ability to visualize a database in a graphical
way is the highest priority of these use-cases to our users; the
ability to build E/R diagrams is a second-level priority. I would like
to suggest that we focus on this most basic use case: the ability to
generate a ready-only diagram from an existing database.

In this spirit, could you do a revision of your UI spec that covers
just this one use case?  I think this has a much greater possibility
of getting through review.  Then we can work on implementing this use
case, and get it checked in.

Then, if time permits we can iterate over this, introducing one more
use case, getting this reviewed and implemented, and so on.
