jbuilder to Netbeans JTABLE

Hello folks,
I just migrated from jbuilder to netbeans. I am finding problems creating
jTable. In jbuilder after dropping the table from the user palates I just
create my model and use the code jtable1.setModel(mymodel); and thats it.
In netbeans I have spent more than  a week searching the internet until i
got to this forum. Could someone point to me where or how I can edit the "do
not edit codes" to add my model? or is there a way to do this ?
Or is there a shot tutorial about netbeans not jTable in general but on
netbeans ? I cannot get the f1 files to show me either .  Thanks bashiro
