Splash screen wrong position (v.6 RC1)

I all, I have this problem
as I show in the image the splash screen of NETBEANS 6 RC1 (I use linux) is
not centered in the screen (widescreen)
it is perfectly centered in a square but my screen is not a square
:confused:.

Also NB does not remember the state of the windows (minimized, maximized)
and it's position.
