I would like to disscuss the following problems with the Netbeans IDE usage:
1.) problem of the unbelievable terrible bad performance of the code editor
of Netbeans 6.1 on single core processor's computers
my hint to solve this: to have a possibility to STOP some or all of
the Wizzards in the nb IDE editor.
2.) problem of the unbelievable bad usability of the Evaluate Expression
dialog (in Debug mode)
this dialog or window is not finished yet for years! it's terrible
as well that there is not possible just to select a variable in editor and
via clicking to Evaluate Expression to display it's instance immediately,
without any next clicking and copiing the string into!
3.) also the Watch dialog and Local Variables dialog needs few usability
refactorings, to have such clear, simply and fast displaying the important
values in Debug mode as it was e.g. in JBuilder X or current versions of
Eclipse. Otherwise the Netbeans will stay at the edge of main stream of
development tools
What do you think about that ?
Best regards, Juro
