Hi there i think i got a freaky problem. I hope somebody there can help. I am currently using Netbean 6.1 and Jdk 1.5_06 (freshly downloaded). i got this problem that i cannot add in anything for my GUI with the drag/drop. As attached is a print screen. http://www.nabble.com/file/p17411692/printscreen.JPG printscreen.JPG It only occurs on my computer and the same file will look fine at other computers. In other words i cant preview any GUI in the netbean 6.1 (but the other people can view the same file w/o prom). I tried it out with the tutorial on netbean website (http://www.netbeans.org/kb/60/java/quickstart-gui.html) and i was stuck at "Adding Components: The Basics" cos i cannot add anything to it. If you noticed, my printscreen has the whole area in grey but in the tutorial, it has a smaller grey area that the components can be added to. (With a white background). http://www.nabble.com/file/p17411692/this%2Barea.JPG this+area.JPG I tried reinstalling Netbean with 6.0.1 or JDK with 1.6_06 and some other combination that the same problem occurs. I also tried to install the same version of JDK and netbean on another computer and such problem does not occur. Please tell me what settings i may have done wrong or what could be wrong. Thanks!
