using jbutton. new to netbeans

hello.

I AM PLACING A JBUTTON in one of the pannels but it becomes invisible as
soon as i place it and i cant do anything with it.. but if i see the preview
of the design its there.   what is the problem??

and also i am trying to delete an already existing jbutoon which is there on
the inspector window but no where else. , but its not getting deleted!!
