problem on Matisse NetBeans IDE 6.7 - pleas help

hi,

I add AWT Canvas on JFrame in the designer (Matisse NetBeans IDE 6.7).
When i change the background color of the canvas, it NOT change the color on
the designer! why????????

when i run the application the canvas background color do changed!?!?!
