Regarding Netbeans and Python

I have been following the wiki's instructions for setting up Python on Netb=
eans 8.1. However, it's not available. When checking for new plugins, I get=
 an error about being unable to connect to the plugin portal due to a conne=
ction reset. This, despite being able to get updates for the things I had a=
lready set up in Netbeans.


This issue has been going on for several days, so I'd appreciate some help =
with this.
