Hello,

If there is nobody trying to translate the < welcome page > into
Spanish, I would not mind doing it.

A few months ago you sent this very kind feedback, and mentioned you
might be interested in helping if possible. Well, maybe you can :-) I'm
following up in the hope that you are still interested.

I notice your email address is from Switzerland - do
you happen to speak any languages other than english
(italian/german/...) ? If yes, would you be interested
in translating an HTML page ?

I created a basic "Welcome to NetBeans" template, which
can serve as a home page for the netbeans.org site in
other languages. It is quite short, hopefully not too
much work to translate. If you have a little time, a translated version
of this one page would be a great contribution, and much appreciated!
:-) I'm hoping that even with just a little localised website content
(like this one page), more non-english speakers will be able to find out
about NetBeans.

So far we have a french, chinese and russian version
of the page.

If you are interested, and have some time, check out the "localising"
page, which includes a link to the Welcome template and some other info
:

If you do want to try this, please let me know, or even
better send a short note to [email protected], just
in case someone else might be working on a translation
to your language also (not very likely! :-).

In any case, thanks for your interest and support.

Best Regards,
