Hi all,

Just a quick note to inform you that 2 new language
homepages just went up, thanks to Bruno Souza and
Antonin Novotny. Great stuff, thank you both! Bruno,
Antonin, I recommend you subscribe to [email protected]
so everyone involved in translations can communicate
there.

The new pages are up on the staging site :

   http://testwww.netbeans.org/index_cz.html
   http://testwww.netbeans.org/index_pt.html

and will automatically propagate to the live www
site in ~1hr :

   http://www.netbeans.org/index_cz.html
   http://www.netbeans.org/index_pt.html

Bruno and Antonin, if you could check your pages and
make sure the encoding and characters are all OK.

Also a couple of quick requests, for everyone involved
in web content translations :

- Please use UTF-8 encoding if possible

- When copying the original HTML from the testwww site,
please try to use View -> Source, and save, from your
browser, rather than File -> Save As, which (depending
on browsers) do a lot of strange stuff to the HTML.

Of course any translation in any format is always
welcome, but these things make it easier, and quicker,
to get your work live on the site. Thank you! :-)

If you like to view your work as you go, try changing
the css ref in the HEAD block of html to the fully
qualified version :

<link rel="STYLESHEET" href="http://www.netbeans.org/netbeans.css"
type="text/css">

You'll need to be online for that to work, so it's not
practical for dialups, but if you are online it might
help the page look a little nicer as you are working.
