Yes!

It's too late at this point in the release cycle to make anything other 
than critical changes in the product itself.

On the other hand, if you can update the doc before the release, we can 
display it prominently in the Docs and Support area (maybe as a 
"Featured Article"). Maybe it could also be temporarily on the home page 
as a new article around the time of the release, though I'm not sure if 
this possible at the moment with PDFs.
