Page Border

The border of most pages wide. This may be fine when to most users viewing the WWW site on a large monitor with a display aspect ratio of 16:9. For someone viewing the site on a not large monitor with a 5:4 aspect ratio, it is too wide. Some times there are boxes of content in the page has the same effect of multiple columns for the part of the page in which the box is vertically in, which makes each content section even narrower. For a simple border, such as netbeans.org has, I think a border width of 2rem is plenty. Users on wide screens can then enjoy the option of having a browser sidebar open or tiling 2 applications side by side if they wish.
