Re: Messages "Failed to update jar archive file ..." at Jonas STart

Windows keeps locks on files, preventing them from being deleted 
(sometimes).
Linux is more lenient about this.

Can you try with the latest JOnAS 4.x version to see if there are any 
improvements?
With JOnAS 5, you can also deploy your EJB2 archive (if it doesn't 
contains CMP entities) using the Easybeans EJB3 container that no more 
need to update the archive on the fly.
You can also run GenIC standalone (using ant tasks or maven plugin or 
script) to create offline a ready-to-go EjbJar.
