Hi Guillaume,

I think it is a problem with my application-client.xml or jonas-client.xml.
my jar application needs to lookup an EJB located in the ejb-jar (inside the ear).

I'm currently trying to see the problem using ClientStubGen and I just saw:

Digester.error : Parse Error at line 14 column 13: cvc-complex-type.2.4.a: Invalid content was found starting with element 'remote'. One of '{"http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/j2ee":home}' is expected.

My EJB has only a remote interface.
Do I need to provide a home interface ??
Can it be a problem with jonas-ejb-jar.xml ??

Here is my of application-client.xml:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>

<application-client xmlns="http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/j2ee"
	xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"
	xsi:schemaLocation="http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/j2ee
	http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/j2ee/application-client_1_4.xsd"
	version="1.4">

  <display-name>Client Side</display-name>

  <ejb-ref>
    <ejb-ref-name>ejb/FacadeBean</ejb-ref-name>
    <ejb-ref-type>Session</ejb-ref-type>
    <remote>com.test.FacadeBeanRemote</remote>
  </ejb-ref>

</application-client>

and jonas-client.xml:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>

<jonas-client xmlns="http://www.objectweb.org/jonas/ns"
	xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"
	xsi:schemaLocation="http://www.objectweb.org/jonas/ns
    http://www.objectweb.org/jonas/ns/jonas-client_4_0.xsd" >

  <jonas-ejb-ref>
    <ejb-ref-name>ejb/FacadeBean</ejb-ref-name>
    <jndi-name>JNDI_FacadeBean</jndi-name>
  </jonas-ejb-ref>
</jonas-client>

Thanks for your time.

Benjamin
