       Body:
We are working on putting a test case together but here are some snippets from the struts config.xml

    <action path="/healthStatusEnquiry" type="za.co.nmp.brkenq.web.HealthStatusEnquiryAction" scope="session">
      <exception key="pulz.error.noGroup" path="error.page" type="za.co.nmp.brkenq.exceptions.GroupNotFoundException"/>
...
..
.
from the tiles-defs.xml
    <definition name="error.page" extends=".pulzLayout">
        <put name="title"  value="error.heading" />
        <put name="header" value=""/>
        <put name="body"   value="/secure/pulz/errorPage.jsp" />
    </definition>

Our system is rather extensive this may be very difficult to comprehend all the namings, particularly if you have not used struts before. We will send a working example soonest.
Thanks.

Here is an overview of the issue:
---------------------------------------------------------------------
        Key: SIM-67
    Summary: Sitemesh conflict with struts exception handling
       Type: Bug

     Status: Assigned
   Priority: Critical

    Project: SiteMesh
 Components:
             Decorators
   Versions:
             1.5

   Assignee: Mathias Bogaert
   Reporter: nicholas hurt

    Created: Tue, 5 Aug 2003 1:41 AM
    Updated: Tue, 5 Aug 2003 1:41 AM
Environment: Red hat linux, tomcat4.18, apache, j2sdk1.4.1, struts1.1

Description:
Hi, we are experiencing an issue when struts exception handling attempts to display the error page whilst a decorator is being applied. The resultant page is blank. We have checked that there are no mysterious closing html tags early on in the page which sitemesh takes quite literally. When the sitemesh is removed it is not being applied to the same page, the normal content is shown.
