Description:
I have added a functional unit test that steps through the workflow defined in the "example.xml" workflow.  this is good because you can do a beginning to end test of a relatively complex workflow.  It also can be applied against multiple SPI's to verify they all perform the same.  I am only committing the memory version, although I have the JDBC working relatively well while I get the build slicked up a bit more.
