Handling failures in post-functions

Hi,

I have a general question about post functions. According to the description, post functions are for 'the "meat" goes' and are executed executed after the transition has been made. How do you handle errors happening in post functions? As I see it, the transition is already done and you don't have a chance to go back. Is there a concept how to handle post-function errors?
