element "result" in DTD is defined as follow

<!ELEMENT result (conditions, validators?, pre-functions?, post-functions?)>

	old-status CDATA #REQUIRED
	status CDATA #IMPLIED
	step CDATA #IMPLIED
	owner CDATA #IMPLIED
	split CDATA #IMPLIED
	due-date CDATA #IMPLIED
	id CDATA #IMPLIED
>

That is, it miss a "join" property.

Since the class ResultDescriptor has the "join" property and <unconditional-result> tag also accepts a "join" as target I can't understand why <result> doesn't.
Is it a bug in DTD or is there a particular reason for this?
