For editing, wouldn't it be nice if we had a real "graph" editor, you know
moving nodes around and drawing arrows, automatic layout, zooming, and all?
And this may not be that hard, using something existing! I had done some
research on libraries this could be based on, and identified two candidates
that may be worth looking at:

JGraph at http://jgraph.sourceforge.net and GEF at http://gef.tigris.org.
JGraph was my favourite, pretty interesting and seems really simple to use,
looking at the example code and API. BTW, JGraph *IS* LGPL according to
http://sourceforge.net/projects/jgraph, despite the website that may look
commercial to some, they're selling support. About GEF, there is also
http://www.eclipse.org/gef, but relationship between the two is not
immediately clear; the second is for Eclipse plugin and won't run
standalone.

PS: I (unfortunately!) did not have time yet to check this out from CVS,
apologies if OSWfDesigner already uses this sort of a graph editing library?

Anil, the basic framework is in place (adapted from the code you sent),
but requires fleshing out, it does very little beyond allow you to view
a workflow currently, and edit simple attributes. The next step I think
is to flesh out the editors and complete edit functionality, then to
allow to add/create functionality of all elements.
