HibernateWorkflow store

Since my project will use hibernate as persistance layer I would like to use hibernate for workflow store too. Looking at HibernateWorkflowStore I can't understand how the store object could get the hibernate session instance. There is constructor with a session object as parameter, but I don't see where it is used. I think that an elegant way could be to declare the jndi path for the SessionFactory in a property, just as it works for the datasource in JdbcWorkflowStore but, as far as I understand, HibernateWorkflowStore has no reference to a SessionFactory.
