Description:
Data is not saved to the backend database due to lack of Transactions/commits.

A single Session is used, rather than creating Sessions from a SessionFactory, as recommended by the Hibernate documentation.

The query() method is not implemented.

Exceptions are not correctly thrown.

Depreciated Hibernate methods are used.
