Hi Mike, 
I'm reincarnating my improvements to osuser (
main improvement is kicking of HIbernateQueries
alltogether, and usage of HQL queries embedded in
mapping )

I would also implement  removal of properties on
user/group removal. I think this is a good idea...

Currently I do it agains OSuser CVS on SF  and I will
submit patches to JIRA.
