AFAIK, OSUser is now on the java.net site..  I checked it out last night
from CVS to start looking into whether to use it with WW or my own Avalon
component based user/roles/group engine..

I have seen the various posts you have made..  Have you made progress in
identifing bugs/issues with the Hibernate provider?  I was going to take a
stab at providing unit tests for OSUser the function similar to the ones for
PropertySet and OSWorkflow.  Basically a single unit test can be subclassed
by each provider and this verfies all providers meet a certain level of
functionality.

Hopefully I can build on what you have learned...
