OK so now I am curious

Why is it the case the oscore uses xdoclet in the build.xml but osuser
appears to have xdoclet generated code checked into CVS?

The main reason not to do this is to take advantage of bug fixes &
enhancements in xdoclet I guess, not to mention more utility for folks who
wish to build osuser themselves (perhaps with different ejbdoclet flags etc)
