Sorry, can't help - our firewall closes off the port I'd use from my work
machine to access CVS at dev.java.net. I have to use command line on a box
in our DMZ.

I use Eclipse CVS each day locally without a problem.

Subject: [Opensymphony-developers] [OT] cvs.java.net & eclipse

I am having trouble with CVS integration between cvs.java.net and Eclipse

Is anyone else using this combination?

I keep getting errors from Eclipse saying

The server reported an error while performing the "cvs update" command.
: cvs [server aborted]: received broken pipe signal
: cvs server: Invalid reply from auth server (jumper1) looking for (DONE)

I realize that is not much to go on but if its known not to work, then at
least I can give up

thanks,
jmp
