Ok,
How did you create your db schema when you deployed it `out of the
box'?
I haven't located any documentation describing how to do it and the
mckoi.sql is inadequate as an example.
I'm not asking for spoon feeding here, but some kind of basic
indication as to how to build the back end.

Hmm, the example ear application deploys out of the box on wl 8.1 as of
a few days ago. Make sure you're trying the latest cvs stuff.

Well, this is hardly surprising, mckoi.sql is for...mckoi. Using some
other db would require porting the script to use the syntax for the
target db. Feel free to file issues in jira with the correct script for
various dbs attached and I'll check them in.
