I've found some partial success with OSUser. I was finally able to integrate OSUser into my app. to the extent where I can now create users and groups in the db., just as the example does. It took me quite a bit of messing about, but it was still faster than writing it myself. When it all fell together the payoff seems quite decent and achieves the majority of what I wanted from a user API. I'm now at the stage of working out how to hook up the inbuilt LDAP in WebLogic 7.2 with the LDAP description in osuser.xml . I'll let people know how that goes, if the list is interested. I don't know if you want to hear about success/failure stories or not. Regards, Nick Faiz B2B Developer Corporate Express Australia Ltd.
