RE: OSUser: partial success

Ye of little faith -- I wrote the LDAP stuff and it definitely works for
authentication. It doesn't (and doesn't try to) work wrt to creating
users or managing groups (authorization). It merely indicates if a
password is correct or not.

Oh, and it requires an underlying user provider exist -- otherwise no
one will authenticate.
